Our Mission
Our mission is to provide high-quality service to our members with legal defense, union representation in grievance procedures, and any hardships members or their families might be going through. Miramar FOP Lodge 189 is dedicated to the community they protect in the City of Miramar. Our goal is to cultivate a strong bond between its members and the residents, businesses, places of worship, and other entities in the City of Miramar. The men and women of the Miramar Police Department swore an oath to protect and serve their community, and they understand the importance of providing a safe community for its residents. The Miramar FOP Lodge 189 proudly supports its members in this common goal.
Officer David Robbins answered his final call surrounded by the love of his family and the respect of an entire law enforcement community. His strength, service, and unwavering dedication to others will never be forgotten. Though his watch has ended, his legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those he served beside and the community he protected. Rest easy, brother.
